What baby stuff should I buy used??

Question

I put together a registry and added everything up that I want. All together ( clothes, bottles, soap, car seat/ stroller, bibs, pacis, towels etc included) is $1500. I know I’ll have a shower which will help but what are some things I should buy new vs used.
For example:
used or new swing?
used or new stroller/ car seat? 
used or new halo bassinet?
used or new pack and play? 
used or new baby carrier? 
anything else I should buy used that you ladies recommend let me know! I know I’ll have to buy some stuff new but I want to eliminate some stuff! Thanks in advance ladies!

The only item I say you 💯 should buy new is a car seat.  Everything else is totally up to you! Anything I bought used, I made sure could be washed.

Used clothes, crib, bassinet, pack n play, swing. New car seat. Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist are both amazing for used baby stuff in great shape.

I got everything used, except her pacifiers and bottles. Yard sales, curb alerts, and hand me downs from family. I didn’t spend more than $150 out of my own pocket, then again we have the bare minimum. My so and I hate clutter minimalism was important

The car seat is really the only thing you have to buy new. I’d also recommend buying a new pack n play because the mattress can’t really be sanitized since it has a particle board bottom. Crib mattresses can technically be used, but I’d buy a new one anyway. Bottles can be used, but the nipples and pacifiers should be new because that’s just gross.
Pretty much everything else can be used as long as they meet current safety standards (for example, cribs should have slats no more than 2 and 3/8 inches along with many other specifications). We borrowed our Halo bassinet from a friend and it was very easy to clean. My sister gave me her old swing and it was also very easy to clean, although I’d recommend getting one with a plug rather than batteries.

1500???? Are you buying the snoo lol! I bought everything brand new. But I got deals on everything. We got the car seat and stroller on Black Friday at Target. It’s the chicco keyfit, the swing and bouncers we got at bargain hunt. The crib I got from my best friend her daughter never used it and when they moved they never put it back together I got that for 50 I think a total of everything was 5 to 6 hundred and that’s bc I got her a lot of bottles and clothes lol. Also baby showers are the way to go with diapers and wipes. Always look for deals! Get more for your buck. As for buying stuff used you I would buy things that can we washed. But if you have on having a lot of children I would buy new so you can save it for your next child. Sometimes when you buy used and try to use it for multiple kids it gets worn really quick :)

I would buy clothes and baby carrier used.. anything you can wash really. I buy all my baby clothes used from Once Upon a Child. I find amazing stuff there. Also toys and books are good used, for the amount they use these things the regular prices are crazy.

$1500?! We have three children and I don't think we spent that much combined on baby stuff. 
Like someone else said, buy a new car seat. Pretty much everything else can be bought gently used for 1/2 what you would pay new.

You can buy whatever you want used! Most of my stuff was hand me downs from friends and family! I even got a second hand car seat. With car seats you just need to be sure that they aren’t expired or have been in an accident, they expire even after small fender benders.

Omg how did you get that number we bought a majority of stuff new and it wasnt even 1000! 
Carseat, bottles/pacifiers, and possibly stroller new pretty much everything  else you can get used. They go through clothes so fast that its pointless to spend a ton of money and most of the used stuff is like new for babies.
