I got attacked for no reason

so today me and SO went out Christmas shopping in our local shopping centre it was about 5 o’clock when I was walking a little in front on my boyfriend in the outdoor marker area when this younger couple with beer can in their hands were walking next to me, next thing he pushed her into and she booted me in the leg (I have a mark) my boyfriend ranging with anger grabbed the boy and the girl shouting abuse at me ‘slag your bitch you fucking slut you slag’ threw her beer can at my partner... my partner in anger grabbed the boy and punched him in the face while the girl threw beer at me and still shouting abuse.. we walked up but as I turned away I noticed the boy had picked up a chair from the local cafe and tried chasing us to throw the chair at us... some ladies who worked in the bank opposite came out and phone police but they had run away..... I’m just so confused it was such a random attack I did not know then and just because I was on my own they thought they could target me I am still in shock and I am thankful I had my partner with me!!!! the mark on my leg where she kicked me in leg!
