Let's be honest ladies.. You have this view of life with baby. Baby comes into your life, you're filled with joy, you leave the hospital and BAM. Reality check. I cry randomly - mainly over breastfeeding. The nurses and lactation consultants all said we had a beautiful latch but my nipples are DESTROYED!! They're all scabby, it hurts when she nurses, and it's getting emotional. I got medicine for Thrush. I've been on it for 2 days and I'm not seeing any improvement. My husband is leaving tonight to go golfing for a work event tomorrow. I'm an emotional wreck right now. We did the prenatal breastfeeding classes and everything like that, but it definitely didn't help me at all. Anyone else struggling with breastfeeding?
