There are people who do like being woken up like that, but if you two never discussed it then you need to say something or he’ll most likely keep doing it.

Was he awake or sleeping, maybe he thought you were awake? This happens quite often in relationships actually, where sex starts when both partners are asleep.

My husband will have sex with me while he’s sleeping if I don’t try to wake him. He will not remember the act whatsoever. So if he dreams we are having sex, he will turn over and go for it, completely not consciously. He’s also a sleep talker, so if he does that, it could be a sign of a sleep walker, which isn’t just restricted to sleeping. I’m saying he might not know he’s doing this. If it isn’t malicious and he’s not aware when he does it, and it also doesn’t cause you emotional or physical harm, I wouldn’t classify it as rape. I don’t suggest sleeping with him anymore if he is like my husband with the deep sleepiness and you can’t handle it. Sometimes I really have to fight my husband off and he has no clue what’s going on. I’m an extremely light sleeper. One time I dated a guy who punched me while he was sleeping because he had a night terror. I couldn’t stick around for that so I 86’d him!! But I just deal with my husband trying to have sex with me while he sleeps.. but he’s my husband and I choose what I deal with. I would confirm with this guy if he even knows what happened because he might not have purposefully done that to you, then you can go from there and decide if you want to put up with what ever the answer is.

My boyfriend and I have talked about it and he's completely fine by waking up with me getting him off and sometimes I'm fine with him fingering me to wake me up 🤷‍♀️ the difference is though, is that we've talked about it
