Does anyone else call their man “papi” instead of baby or babe ? (Is it weird)

I call him papa. When we first started dating we were out at a restaurant and the server was trying to figure out if we were together or not. She asked if we were just friends or if maybe he was my dad.🤣🤦‍♀️ To which I replied nope he is my boyfriend but it became our joke. So he is now my papa. 🤣 Just for reference he is only seven years older than me and does not look like he could be my dad.
