Does he like me?

Ok I’ve been seeing this guy for a few months now .. thinks are good but I feel like we could be better like I feel like we can work on communicating more and spending more time with each other. I feel like he likes but than again I’m not sure .. I know I really like him and love his personality but it’s just want more from him.. I never brought it up to him because I’m scared of what he’ll say I don’t want to get my feelings hurt. But he’s say little things that make me think he wasn’t to take stuff further but I also think if he did want to he would say it already and he spend more time with me.. like for example my brothers gf had this very little Halloween party for my nieces and nephews so I told him about it and he asked me “ oh who you bringing ” implying that he wanted to be my guest. But I said they’re like 6 & 7 years old and there just gonna be painting pumpkins lol.. then we had went out to a bar and I started talking bout New Year’s eve and how we always have a big get together cuz it’s also my brothers bday . So he was like “so I can’t come?” Or something like that I can’t remember exactly what he said.. I said “yea you can come and get some food and that’s it” he was like “ wow I can just get some food and that’s it” he thought I meant he can just get some food and leave..but I just meant my mom makes bomb food on NYE lol. Then recently we hanged out and he asked me why He’s never invited at my house.. (I don’t bring anyone to my house because my house is toxic and my parents are always arguing. ) .. then the other day I started talking about my cousins baby shower and how it was and stuff. He asked me who did I bring with me to the baby shower .. I was like Umm my family lol.. Idk I’m so confused cuz it’s like we only spend time with each other a couple times a week ill stay over there till like 6 in the morning.. we text everyday. But idk I feel like I want more in the communication part.. he does call me hear and there. And I feel like if he really like me he would want to spend more time with him.. I mean we always “take turns” asking the other person if they wanna hang out of do something .. so it’s not just me asking to hang out .. and everytime I do ask to hang out he always says yes unless he’s busy..but I just wish he ask me to hang out more cuz I don’t wanna be like “ can we hanging out today” every damn day I feel like that would make me look overbearing..

I’m just so confused lol. And I don’t have much experience with men cuz I’m shy so I haven’t talked to many guys. I hope I don’t sound childish lol I’m not good at explaining things . We’re 24 by the way
