Antibiotics for bacterial infections only. I used them for a confirmed double ear infection.

You don’t give antibiotics for a cold or cough. My son has taken antibiotics for an ear infection though.

My daughter has had a could for 5 days and it caused an ear infection, only now have I stared giving antibiotics, FROM HER DOCTORS REQUEST.🙃

My child has had a perma-cold / cough (literally hasn’t stopped even for one day) since she started daycare on September 30th 😂. Been to the ped 3 separate times (and a fourth time tomorrow for good measure), and not once has she been put on an antibiotic. Because it’s just a cold. Her oxygen levels are at 100% and her lungs are clear. She’s just a snot ball with a lot of mucus 🤷🏻‍♀️
