Addict? Monster Mother in Law

She hates me because I took her son from her. She didnt even raise him. Her parents did. And we have made several attempts to spend time with her especially after our kids were born (2yr old and 4 months old) she has only seen the baby twice in 4 months. (Only seen my older child a handful of times. & only coincidentally, she has NEVER made a plan to see the kids.) She lives 5 minuets away! We were not invited to Thanksgiving (her excuse is that we spent it with my family) which is true, but we could have made time for both as they only live 15 minutes away from each other. Now I don't want anything to do with her on Christmas either. She sent gifts with her mom last year and will probably do it again this year. I don't even want to accept gifts from her. My kids do not know her! She has made no effort to see them, ask about them, ask for a picture or anything! I blocked her from all social media as I am always posting my kiddos. I feel that she doesn't deserve to virtually be in their life with no effort. These are her only 2 blood grandkids. She has 3 others 1 from ex husband, 2 from ex boyfriend of 2 years, and she sees them often. She is an addict (supposedly clean for a couple years now) and has been on/off since she was a teen. Gma says not to take it personal, it's just the "addict mind" and we don't understand because were not addicts 🙄

I feel like my kids are gonna suffer at the end of the day and think something is wrong with them cuz their grandma doesn't see them. Anyone else go through anything similar?
