How often for BPP?

I’ve been going for BPPs twice a week since I was 32 weeks.... is that normal? Everything keeps coming back fine but dang going to the office twice to three times a week seems a little crazy for someone with no complications at all 😴

I've been going twice a week for them since 32weeks as well. It started because of little movement with my baby B but they're both doing great. 37 weeks tomorrow and having my csection! So glad to finally be done!

I started weekly BPPs at 30weeks. A friend of mine who just delivered on Monday had to do them twice a week suw to GD.
But that seems excessive if you are complication free. I would just ask the doctor why so many.

I’ve been going once a week since 30 weeks, and will only go once a week. The only reason I started at 30 weeks was because I developed high blood pressure and they wanted to start checking on babies at that time. The only time I’ve heard of twice a week was for women that are over 40. I’d ask if it’s really necessary to be doing them that frequently.

That is insane! ACOG (American college of gynecology and pediatrics) doesn’t recommend them until 40 weeks with a otherwise healthy pregnancy and not bi weekly until 41 weeks. I would tell your doctor since everything is normal you will be declining them from now on. Sounds like a ploy to get more insurance money.
