Does your baby coo?

My baby is almost 3 months and not cooing yet. She makes some sounds and will suck in air and squeal when she wants to “laugh.” She smiles a lot. I’m just worried something is wrong.

My baby is 13 weeks and has cooed since 2 months. She never stops "talking". It's rather exhausting because if were not talking to her while shes awake she will scream until someone talks to her. Shes gonna get in trouble for not being quiet in school I can see it now.

My son is exactly the same- I was googling yesterday bc it was making me nervous. Seems like babies vary a lot in temperament and its not something to be super worried about yet.

My baby makes some sounds and will occassionally do something that i guess would be considered cooing??? Idk. Definitely not as talkative or noisy as other babies. My doc didnt seem concerned when i mentioned it recently and shes 12 weeks today.

My baby does, but I read in her health book that if she wasn’t by 4 months to tell the midwives at her checkup.. so maybe just check with her carer at your next checkup
