Itching??

Question

So I am 8-9 weeks pregnant (haven’t been to dr yet, I go next week!) but I am itching everywhere! It’s normally just my boobs and belly after I get undressed at night and I’ll scratch and it goes away. But tonight it’s my arms, legs, belly, underarms, face, just everywhere!! Anybody experienced this? Almost feels like an allergy. But I haven’t changed laundry detergents or anything and I’ve never been allergic to anything.

Have a look at something called ICP my sister in law had it last pregnancy and had itchiness all over but I don’t think you get it until later in your pregnancy 💕

I had this too! It does simmer down after a few weeks. I had it 6-9 weeks once I hit ten weeks it mostly stopped

Hmmm do you think some of it has to do with skin stretching? I think itching happens before stretch marks. Although your face is probably not getting stretch marks lol. In stretch mark prone places you might want to lather up with some unscented lotion or aloe vera. I think drinking plenty of water and being hydrated can help your skin be more elastic. It might not fix all of the itching but it could help some.

I had this happen with my last pregnancy, though it was mainly my legs. Can't remember how long it lasted, but it eventually went away.

My skin got suuuuuper dry and of course any scented lotions etc just make me nauseous so I’m just a flakey lizard 😑
