How did/are you telling your littles?

Ok ladies! 
I know some of you are on baby #2 like me, and so I’m curious how and when you plan to tell your first!?? 
I’m dyinggggg to tell my first, who is 3, but we’ve held off so far because we’re worried he’ll spill the beans before we announce!! We plan to announce Christmas eve and Christmas Day to our families, but I HAVE to tell my first before everyone else. I just can’t imagine not telling him. 
I need ideas how we can tell him! :) 
I’m thinking of telling him next weekend (the 21st) and then not mentioning it again and HOPE he doesn’t say anything when we see family before we announce...

My son is 3 and we were so excited for baby #2 that we told him right away. A week later we went to a family party and within minutes of walking in, he told everyone “I had a baby in my belly.” Everyone was thrilled, but needless to say we weren’t planning on announcing that early lol.

My daughter will be 3 in January and my husband won’t be home until Christmas Eve. Our plan is to have her open a big sister gift in front of my husbands family and that’ll be how we tell her and tell his family also. Otherwise I feel like she’s going to spill the beans as soon as we get over to the in-laws house 😅

When I told my first about my second pregnancy when she was 3 she told everyone 🤷🏻‍♀️ when I went to pick her up at school her teachers told we know the good news. She’s very excited and and telling everybody she meets. 
Now I’m pregnant with my third and I haven’t told her yet but planning on telling her on Christmas.

I told my 3 year old the day I tested and told him it’s our secret. THIS LITTLE AMAZING CHILD OF MINE KEPT IT. 😭💗

My husband has a 7 yo, a 10 yo and a 13 yo. We only told the 13 yo because the other 2 would tell EVERYONE.

I told my 5 year old son a week after I found out, and he immediately told everyone !  He was way to excited especially since he’s been wanting a sibling💕

My oldest son will be three tomorrow. My younger son will be 15 months on Sunday. I've already told my three year old. He is speech delayed though, so he can't really tell anyone. And we've already told our families anyway. He is excited for the most part.
My 15 month old is not nearly old enough to understand. There is nearly the same age gap between these two (22 months) as there is between my first two (21 months). And I don't think my oldest ever really understood a baby was coming before he actually came. He was a rockstar when his brother came though so I'm hoping my now "middle" son is the same.

My first is 12 months old we keep talking about the little baby in mommy's belly but I don't think she has any idea what we are talking about hahahahaha🤣
