My 14 month old, he’ll be 15 months Christmas Eve, only says 3 words. Hi, dada & mama. Should I be concerned that’s all he can say?

My 15month old only says 3 words also. I just asked his ped last week and he said not to worry but to continue reading to him, no baby talk, and just speak a lot to him. I'm not worried, he babbles and makes a lot of new sounds and communicates well by doing and pointing. I feel like he will have more of a vocabulary within the next couple months!

He’s adorableeeeee!!!! I wouldn’t be too concerned. Mine babbles a TON! Pretty sure he says words he doesn’t even know he’s saying. Says MAM, dada, bye...has started saying Hi and Twice said bubby...I wouldn’t be too concerned! They are developing at all kinds of different stages and constantly learning.

My son will be 15months on Christmas and he babbles a lot but only says dada
He doesn’t point to things he wants yet but he does wave bye and brings me toys he wants me to turn on.
The doctor said it’s not time to be concerned yet.....

My son just turned 15 months on the 13th, and lately is very into reading. One of his books is all about colours, and we just realised he is trying to repeat the names of the colours. Otherwise he pretty much just babbles, besides the standard mama, dada. He understands a few phrases though. 
They go through a huge development leap at this point, which seems to kick start some language once they are out the other side of it.

Only a few here too.  He says papa, mama, bubba.  We think he says bye bye but it sounds similar to bubba.  He’s going to be bilingual as I speak to him in English and my husband speaks to him in Spanish.  So I’m not really worried yet.  He babbles a ton.
