Should I???

Question

I lost my last pregnancy (missed miscarriage found on 10 week scan), so I’m very nervous about this one. I’m scheduled for an 8 week scan, but today a nurse offered to try to schedule us for a 7 week scan if we want. Because if Christmas, the only day we could do is 7 weeks and 1 day. I would love earlier reassurance, but am worried that the pic will be unclear or the heartbeat low, and the docs would just say that it’s too early to tell. I don’t want to be even MORE worried!!  Would you all wait until 8 weeks or go in early and risk inconclusive news?  Thank you for your thoughts

It honestly depends on your history of loss. I get an ultrasound appointment for 6 weeks or 6 weeks and 1 or 2 days but somewhere in that 6th week due to my history of ectopics and miscarriages. They want to find out as early as possible for intervention. I also have 2 sons. My babies have always had a heartbeat at 6 weeks and measured at 6 weeks or bigger. My 1st ectopic my baby had a heart beat at 6 weeks and measured 7 weeks in my tube. It’s not a matter of what they will see it’s a matter of when you comfortable and when your doctor is comfortable to do your ultrasound

I would wait until everything is more clear it's because you don't want to go too early and they don't have much information to go off of. My doctor won't see me until I'm about 8 to 10 weeks

I had a mmc in oct and I’m super worried too. I’m waiting until 8 weeks just to make sure they can see something. I’m so scared of having another mmc.
