How to tell if membrane sweep is working?

I had a membrane sweep yesterday at 10:30am. All day after I was very crampy. Today the crampiness has died down. I have also had diarrhea (TMI sorry!) and some pinkish discharge. Are these signs the sweep is working? Any others had the membrane sweep and it was a success? What were your symptoms after?

If you go into labor it works 😂😂😂 - didn’t do much for me but works for some women.

Had my membrane sweep at 39+5 and about an hour after started having contractions and started to lose chunks of my mucous plug. The next day had contractions all day and was still losing chunks. That night around 2am my water broke and had my baby at 4am.
