Water breaking?

Ok so this is a dumb question. Im a 2nd time mom so one would think id know this but hey i was induced with my first and never experienced natural labor.

When your water breaks at home is it really clear, like discharge?

I remember it being more red/pink at the hospital with my daughter. Ive been having some contractions off and on for the past few days with cervical changes and i lost my mucus plug.

Well i also have increased discharge, will my water breaking be clear like discharge??
