Punishment for almost 2 year old

My son is currently 21 months. Hes always been EXTREMELY wild and "has the energy of six kids" as a few people have told us. We actually have had a few sitters not be able to take him because hes to much, hes nonstop from when he wakes up until he goes to bed. Hes always been a climber and jumper. He is very ahead in every area. Hes already putting 5-6 words together for some sentences and he speaks in both english and spanish. Now my big problem is hes starting to throw hissy fits like all other kids his age. I've tried time outs and this is how it goes pack and play gets climbed out of, baby containment area gets ripped down or he picks it up and crawls under, tried the highchair he flung himself so hard he flipped the chair but I caught him, babygates get climbed over or smashed down, closing in him a room isnt an option he will climb up whatever he can and jump off. I love this boys wild and I couldnt imagine life without him but sometimes he does need a timeout. Any suggestions 😅
