Babies eating solids, how many oz of milk now?

Question

My ped told me that 4oz of purées replace a bottle.
She was drinking 30oz of milk, does that mean I decrease it to 26oz?

If that's what they told you yes. Mine said I shouldnt adjust her milk amount at all.

Solids right now and until one year are not actually feedings 
Is kind of for fun and to get babies use to favorites and textures 
Take it as a dessert for your baby 
Try feed diary and then some baby food let your baby choose how much to get .

I would still offer your baby the same oz of milk and they will naturally reduce their feeds as they start to eat more.

Every ped is different, mine said to wait till 6 months cause milk/formula is the most important thing for babies.  He said risking my son drinking less to replace with food is not beneficial

We have not adjusted milk oz at all. Sometimes he drinks an oz or two less from the bottle after food, but I don't make a smaller bottle bc it's not consistent.

We do same amount of milk and offer puree after one to two times a day and let her decide how much of it she wants to eat. It’s kind of more for fun still for us
