Yep! First IVF cycle worked and am now 11+3 weeks, but this isn't my baby I am carrying. I am a first time surrogate :)

1st time fresh cycle = bfp ended in mc at 16 wks
2nd time frozen cycle =bfp our take home rainbow baby 💙

I’ve had one retrieval and from that 3 blastocysts: I did a fresh transfer and then a FET and both transfers failed.

We did FET twice, both successful. I highly recommend PIGD. Of our seven 5-day old blasts, only three were genetically viable. If we had implanted one of them, it would have ended in mc or worse, a baby with a very short lifespan. Not to mention that IVF is super expensive, and those drugs are hard on the body. Don’t put all that into an embryo that has very little chance of making it.
That being said, if you do PGD and -all- of the embryos are abnormal, there is some research showing that it is occasionally possible for an abnormal embryo to “heal” by shunting abnormal cells to placental tissue. Which is crazy. But here’s the article:
