My little man was born a week ago today and circumcised last Monday. The circumcision itself looks fine; the swelling and redness has gone down a lot and there’s no bleeding/sign of infection. We apply Vaseline to it at every diaper change. A few days ago, I noticed a small bruise at the base of his penis, on his scrotum. He doesn’t seem bothered by it, he feeds often, and produces plenty of wet/poopy diapers. Has anyone else noticed a similar bruise on their son? I spoke to the pediatrician who said to take a photo, monitor it, and it would be checked out at his weight check tomorrow. I’d post a photo but I’m not sure if that’s appropriate 🤷‍♀️
