2 year old broken arm🤦🏼‍♀️

So my 2 year old was refusing to go to sleep a few nights ago which landed us in A&E because he decided to climb over the stair gate in his bedroom and land on his arm.

He has a buckle fracture in his left arm and has been given a strap with a metal support in it to wear until we get confirmation of an appointment at the fracture clinic. He will most definitely have to have a cast on it.

My questions are;

1. How do I convince him to keep the strap on? He just screams until hes pulling it off which is going to hurt him more.

2. What are some indoor activities to keep him entertained all day!?😩
