Is shrimp safe during pregnancy?

I had a miscarriage at 5w2d in January and am currently 5w5d today with my rainbow so naturally I worry about everything more so this time around. I got a text earlier today from my grandmother wanting to know my vote between gumbo and chicken tortilla soup for our Christmas dinner (non traditional foods this year) and the gumbo sounds freaking perfect. We haven't told hardly anyone I'm pregnant yet as we've decided to hold off this time. I'm just wondering if shrimp in that case is safe? I dont want to throw in my vote on gumbo, her make it and then not eat any and her wonder why so I thought maybe someone here could help. Mom says she wasn't told any restrictions with her pregnancies but it seems like they've discovered plenty over the last 20+ years.
