GENETIC TESTING

I know this has probably already been put here. But I am really wanting to just get this typed out.

I know that Genetic testing is a way to see what runs in your genes. But...Can you really prevent anything if it is in your genes?

I have heard woman who do IVF can pay to have something done with genetics. I will be 100% honest I do not know really anything about it. That is why I am coming here. I am always open to learning about things and educating myself. I do not like making assumptions. I try my best not to but sometimes I fail. So...What do you think?

Is it worth it? Would you do it?
