Can someone explain to me how i’d know the difference between implantation bleeding and ovulation bleeding?

Okay, I’m not supposed to have a period for 12 more days, I’m pretty regular, always have been, and I have never bled during ovulation. But, today i find i am releasing a light pink colored discharge (what I can only imagine is some kind of bleeding)
I’m no longer ovulating, and I took a pregnancy test, and it was negative. 
TMI maybe? — I had sex on the 8th, 9th, 11th & 13th. So, we are trying!
Is it too early to show on a pregnancy test or am I just overreacting about nothing?

Implantation bleeding is typically a lot lighter than an average period. The colors are also different so implantation is more light pink to brownish. However, in some cases, it can be heavy and period like. Implantation bleeding is also more related to spotting and for a few days at most (but some girls can have it for a whole period length with the whole menstrual cramping, but this is in rarer cases). Honest, from there it is just a matter of if you get a positive test or not. Good luck!

My implantation bleeding was just discharge with a pinkish tint to it. 
Twoish closer to three weeks later I got a positive on three tests.

If you have implantation bleeding it will take a few days for the hormones to show up on a pregnancy test.
