He's here!

Everett David Riley made his appearance Dec 16 at 5pm. Went in the morning expecting to leave with Cervidil in place, ended up with waters broken and being admitted at 9am. I did have an Epidural but stopped working after about 2 hrs, so did the rest au natural and that was probably the hardest thing I've ever done. Babies hr dropped drastically during delivery and my dr was calling for an emergency C-section while trying to use the vacuum to get him out. Took a few pushes but only about 20 minutes and he was out. Scary for a few minutes when he wasn't breathing right away but VERY grateful for the drs and nurses that kept our boy safe. We're obsessed and can't wait to take this sweet thing home tomorrow!
