I am 7 weeks pregnant. My boyfriend and I had sex 2 days ago. Woke up yesterday morning with some brown spotting as expected after sex. (I have gotten some light brown spotting from even a bowel movement). When I went to work yesterday there was brown spotting when I wiped. It tapered off threw the day by evening I started having some pinkish/brown when I wiped. Just had me still concerned as it was getting more and more of light reddish hue to the pink. I was upset and worried as the only other miscarriage was in 2003. I am 37 with 3 previous live births now 17, 15 and 14. I never experienced anything like this during those pregnancies. This morning I woke up to some light reddish pink spotting. I feel super bloated like when I am going to start my period. I immediately started balling as I have been reading red is bad. I called my dr this morning and for what I have been describing in the color as well as having no cramping they said it sounds like everything will be okay. They had me get my blood drawn to check my HCG and having me come back in 48 hours to have another blood draw to see if my HCG levels are rising. My cervix is really high and soft still. This evening the spotting has tapered off to a pinkish brown and barley there when I wipe. I am still really scared and worried. The 48 hour wait is going to make me nutty.
