Business...friend...help?

So, I recently moved overseas and had a “job” lined up- crocheting. A work from home job- by a chick who runs her own business. She was really helpful when I first got here, and is a sweet chick.

Well, the first project I made she... didn’t end up using. It was a small teddy bear and I was afraid of my work not being up to her standards- which I’m not mad about... I didn’t want to stress her out more. I never mentioned I noticed she didn’t use my bear. She was super super laid back about me “working” because I just got here and all the stress of moving. She also never paid me for my work, and she never gave me feedback other than mentioning teaching me how to read patterns (I make my own patterns or use YouTube)

ANYWAYS. she’s been super stressed with orders and stuff before Christmas. And I don’t know how to respond. I want to be nice, but to be honest, I don’t think crocheting as a job is for me. I make stuff for my family and I work on my own timeline because I have a toddler and I’m pregnant. She never officially did anything to employ me and hasn’t even reached out to ask for help. I don’t know how to handle the situation, frankly.

* I will note that I’ve been going through emotional issues myself, depression and anxiety. I want to be friendly and I don’t want to stress her out more- I just don’t know where anything stands??? Because she hasn’t communicated anything with me. She just posted a video to her business page about people attacking her about the timeline of her orders and how it’s only her and one other person, she hasn’t slept in 2 days, etc.
