Symptoms at 9 weeks, 4 days
Hey everyone! I’m 9 weeks, 4 days today! My symptoms are changing a lot lately so I thought I would share and see what you ladies are feeling too!
**Warning: in no way am I saying this is what you should be feeling. Every pregnancy is different.**
1. Always being nauseous but never throwing up has now changed to always nauseous and throwing up 🤢 My 3 year old stands at the door going, “Are you ok mom?” Over and over until I can manage a weak “yes” between heaves lol. Ironically, I feel so bad for her! She’s so worried. Sweet babyyyy!!!
2. My breasts aren’t really sore anymore, but I do have this frequent feeling like my milk is dropping (like when you’re already nursing). Has anyone else experienced this? It’s like a sudden (kind of painful) heaviness in your breasts that lasts about ten seconds.
3. My neck, head and left butt cheek (probably sciatica) ache so bad at night and it makes me sooooo uncomfortable! Ugh.
I still have zero energy, but I haven’t been falling asleep all the time like I was the first 6-7 weeks. But between being tired and nauseous, I am not motivated to do anything and it makes it really hard to get anything done!
4. Similarly, occasionally my body feels so heavy and weak that I sometimes have to sit down mid-walk to the other room. It’s really weird. I don’t remember experiencing this with my first. I think my husband thinks I’m faking or something, but it’s like I can’t even hold myself up.
5. I still have a really bad metallic taste in my mouth that makes water taste horrible.
I am totally constipated now, unlike before when I was concerned I was pooping too much 🤣 oh, how I wished I enjoyed it more while it lasted...
6. I am finally sleeping a little better, although my hips BURN from always laying on my side. It burns at the lower center of my back right above my butt. Using a pillow between my knees helps a little bit.
7. New cravings are Cuties or Halos, mandarin oranges, still apples, spinach salads with bacon and boiled egg, iced teaaaaaaa (so good for settling my stomach), cottage cheese, cream cheese and bagels, sub sandwiches all the wayyyy, carbs carbs and more carbs. I wish I could put veggies here but meat and vegetables are the last thing I want- Although I’ve been forcing myself to eat them 🤮
8. I have been FREEZING all the time. I do live in the Chicago land area so it gets really cold here in the winter, but I’m even cold inside. I’m always buried under two big blankets and still shivering!
I think I got everything. Let me know what you all are feeling this week and if you have any tips/tricks for all this! Baby dust and blessings to you mamas (and papas if you’re reading this)!!
