Has anyone done this? First time mommy here n and im not really sure if I should do it or not? The nurse didn't seem to convincing about it.

Yes!! We did it just to know. It wouldn’t have changed anything. We would have loved our baby the exact same no matter the results but knowing ahead of time to prepare for what could be coming put my mind at ease. Luckily everything was negative and she’s healthy but it was nice to know

We skipped it. It’s not diagnostic, which means it’s not for sure. Felt like I didn’t want extra stress and worry for no reason. Anything major will show up on the anatomy scan.

Yes 100%...if my insurance would not cover the NIPT such as Materniti21 screening, this is the exact test I would have done in its place. The difference is that NIPT covers sex linked chromosomal abnormalities in addition to  what the Sequential screening does.

I’m in the UK but we get offered this test at our 12 week scan and again we can opt in or out of it so it is a personal choice whether you decide to go for it. 
I do feel the need to say that it doesn’t just check for Down syndrome (although I’m sure here you can specify what you want it to check for) the reason I say this is because a lot of people purely focus in on this part and would be more then happy to continue their pregnancy which again is a personal choice but be aware it also checks for 2 others (Edwards and Patau) most babies with Edwards' syndrome or Patau's syndrome will die before or shortly after birth. Some babies may survive to adulthood, but its rare and they will likely have major complications.
I suggest really looking into the test and being as informed as possible and think about what you would do if god forbid something did show up. 
I had it done with my first and will absolutely be doing it again with this little one and myself and my husband have had a serious conversation both times about what our options would be.
