The shot bc?

I went to my 6 week visit today expecting to get the shot birth control, they said I had to get it filled at a pharmacy and then come back for them to give it to me? Is that right? Sounded whack 🤔

That sounds weird to me just cause when I decided to get the depo at 18 they did it right then and there.. but that shot is what the devil is made of.. no joke!! I only had 2 doses of the depo and it took me YEARS to get pregnant after.. I finally got pregnant with my son I got the IUD at my postpartum check and then I got pregnant with my daughter right after getting it removed and I now have my second IUD!! 😊
If you get the depo.. hands down you will regret it at some point..

Don’t get the depo shot! It’s the worst. And if you want to get pregnant within the next 12-18 months you probably won’t.

Thats just how they do it with some things iud's are the same you get a prescription.

My sister and sister inlaw both had depo and it made them fat. They were twigs before and during but once they stopped the got fat.
