Can you poke at your uterus?

Is it bad to poke at your uterus? I’m 11 weeks and am always doing it to see if it feels hard can it hurt the baby?

It won't hurt the baby, they're pretty well protected in there

I mean I doubt unless your really doing it hard the pokes would do any damage but I never poked at my stomach during my first pregnancy just stroked/rubbed bump. 
I’m sure I must have read something about baby not liking it and I know whenever I had an US with him if someone was abit heavy handed (one in particular was!) with the Doppler he would move loads to try and get out of the way lol

You’d have to ask your doctor.  I think there are a lot of daily activities that put pressure on your stomach and baby is under muscle, fat and skin. I’d assume poking you belly is one of the least harmful things your can do but I’d like to know for sure too. I try to feel for my uterus but I have no idea what I’m feeling for.
