My heart broke...

I was changing my 3 1/2 week olds clothes and diaper. I was putting lotion on him. I went to put it back in the bag, but it fell immediately from my hands, and hit his cheek. It wasn't a long fall, it was maybe a cm or two. But he started crying and I started crying while trying to soothe him, while I apologized...my heart broke. I felt like such a shitty mom...
