I started the spotting pink last Thursday night when I was 5w6d. It happened once and was done until Tuesday. On Tuesday I had some brown what looked like discharge. Thought nothing of it. Wednesday morning I had blood every time I went to the bathroom. So I went to the hospital, got bloodwork and an ultrasound, only to find out I have a subchorionic hematoma and the doctor said as long as the blood seems old and sticky it’s okay to spot and bleed. However if it gets worse to come back in. Every time I would see the blood, I would start cramping. I think I was making my body cramp or something, but I was such a ball of nerves until getting to see the heart beat on ultrasound. I really urge any of you struggling with bleeding/spotting to go in for the reassurance. It was seriously the most stressful emotional time debating whether the blood was normal or not.
