How many naps does your 6 month old take?

How long are your baby's naps on average?

Here is our schedule that we have been sticking too. Its what the sleep analysis set up for us. So far it has been working and our little girl has been sleeping more through the night only waking twice. We went from waking 4 or more times a night to two. 😁

My son takes 4 short naps (20-30 min). He can’t stay awake very long after first waking, and can make it 2-2.5 hours awake after that. A good day for him looks something like this...
6 AM wake
7 -7:30 AM nap
9:30-10 AM nap
12-12:30 PM nap
3-3:30 PM nap
5:30 PM start bedtime routine
6 PM down for the night

2-3 naps depending on how the first 2 naps go! We're a little flexible with her schedule now that she's got the sleeping through the night thing figured out! But this is generally what we follow each day. 
8am- wake up and feed
10am- naptime
12pm- wake up and feed
2pm- naptime
4pm- wake up and feed
6pm- either nap (if she didn't nap well earlier or is being especially crabby) or usually dinnertime, and we'll feed her baby food while we eat
8pm- final feeding and bedtime
I aim for her to nap at least 4 hours each day. There will be times that she starts acting sleepy earlier so I'll put her down a little earlier but still let her sleep until the next feeding time. If she doesn't have a good a.m. nap (for example) because she wouldn't settle or I had to run errands and they took longer, then I will put her down a little earlier for her next nap or let her sleep a little longer. If she naps less than 4 hours a day she gets super whiny 😳

2  naps, morning is usually about 1.5 hr and afternoon is 2-2.5 hr long.

So on weekdays with having to drive a 40 min trip to take her sister to school she tends to fall asleep during the ride. So week days ends up being 4-6 naps because of the long car trip. Weekends or school holidays is 2-4 naps. Usually only naps for a short time 10-30 mins depends on if/when I lay her down.

At least 2, usually 3. 10-11, 1-3/4, then a cat nap around 6 for 30 or so minutes. He wakes up at 8 am and bed time is 8 pm.
