DockATot alternative?

Question

Wondering about a safe, portable nap space that is flat and comfortable.
The DockATot is the right size, but I’m nervous about the cushy sides and I read that multiple babies have suffocated in their DockATot...
In Finland, they basically use cardboard boxes! That seems safer, but would hope to find something a little more comfy 😊any ideas?

The cardboard box has a mattress in it too that's quite soft. I'm sure bubs would be fine in it.

Hello,
You’re right to stay clear of a Doc-a-tot for sleeping as they do not conform with safe sleep guidance. 
All you really need is a firm totally flat waterproof mattress and then a sheet or baby sleeping bag for bedding. 
I’d get a Moses basket or cot side item for ease but you could just get a cot or one of those boxes although there have also been a few concerns raised regarding those but they are no doubt better than the nest :) x

You can use the dock a tot for supervised sleep, like napping.
