I just started having sex with my boyfriend and was wondering what method of contraception I should use. we're not that keen on condoms.

I had the nexplanon  (arm implant) and absolutely loved it. I had terrible side effects with the pill though. My periods went away with the nexplanon and I never had to worry about forgetting a pill. I'll definitely get another one when I go back on birth control.

Condoms are the easiest to get, cheapest and one of the most effective . I'm not sure how long you have until you guys have sex but you could also go on birth control

It depends on your body. My body hates anything with hormones and my mind is terrified of putting anything inside my body such as IUDs. Even low hormone birth control still effects my body in a really negative way. Talk to your doctor. Mine really helped me with finding contraception that will work for me personally. Doctors will always find something.

Hmm depending on what works for you! I'm on the implant and it's great so far iv had it for about a year and a half!

I have the Mirena it's an IUD it's good up to 5 years. I've never had any problems with it. It's one of the most preventable.
