Are these safe? My daughters car seat straps are really tight on her neck. they leave bruises and red marks on her neck. I was hoping if it was safe this would help prevent that. If it's not safe what are some recommendations on providing bruising.

No, they aren't. The only shoulder pads that are safe for a carseat are the ones that are manufactured and sold with the carseat. They are the only ones that have been crash tested and been approved safe for babies to wear in the carseat.

You should be able to adjust the straps to avoid that. Look on the manual to see what your options are. Getting a layer of clothing (like the collar) between the straps & baby's neck could also help.

Pull up her shirt/sweater so its covering the area of her neck where her straps would touch. I did this for my son when he was younger
