Anyone letting there 8month old sleep with a blanket or stuffed animal?

My 8 month old sleeps with a blanket although it is not crocheted.

She has always slept with a blanket ( although now she just kicks it off of her) 
Around 6 months I put a stuffed animal in her crib. It's a small elephant and she loves to cuddle with it when she goes to sleep . 
Never been an issue for me. 
My mom said she always had us sleeping with a blanket (3 kids) and it was never an issue.

My 8 mo sleeps with a crocheted baby blanket . I started letting him have it at 6 months as he was already strong and pretty mobile. 🙂

I use a breathable blanket, nothing heavy. Either muslin or copper pearl swaddle :)
