Found the ring

Quick back story my so has been asking questions about rings for the past couple months. Black Friday I wanted to buy my mom a necklace and told him to go with me to the jewelry store at the mall. We agreed to split at some point to buy each other's gifts then when we were at the jewelry store he started to look at rings. I found a necklace purchased it and when I turned around he was talking to a lady about the rings and pricing. (Basically we picked out a ring and he put a down payment.) I walked away to let him talk to the lady after he asked if I could try on rings so he could have privacy. After he was like pretend that didn't happen we were supposed to split at the mall so I could go look at rings alone. Well two days ago we were getting stuff out of his trunk and I saw a Jared's bag which is the store where he put a down payment on the ring. Out of nowhere the other day he decided to do a vacation after Christmas so we will be going out of state for a mini get away. And yesterday he called his mom and had his phone connected to Bluetooth on the car and one of the things she said was so when's the big day and he told her I was in the car so she tried to play it off and change the subject.... I know he's going to Pop the question soon I just dont know when. I am so excited and nervous cause idk how he will ask Iol.
