I want a turkey and cheese sandwich on wheat bread with mayonnaise lettuce tomato pickle and chips soooooo bad but they say you can't eat lunch meat and I don't like warm lunch meat

I've eaten subs my entire pregnancy (it has been a major craving) and my little boy is just fine! It's just another precaution they want you to take.

My dr said if it's sliced fresh from the deli and you know it's been stored safely then it's ok, but no prepackaged kind or like pp said subway etc

It's not turkey, but I buy the rotisserie chickens and make chicken sandwiches. It's close 😉.

It's because of the risk of listeria. My doctor said as long as you know it has been stored properly and is within date you are fine to indulge occasionally. If you don't know the exact expiration date or how well it was stored (places like subway you wouldn't know), heat it up to kill germs.

I heat lunch meat up then put it in the freezer for like 10 mins to cool it back down before eating

Heat it up and then stick it in the freezer for a couple minutes to get it cold again. I hate warm lunch meat too!

They always warn of deli meats but I hear of frozen veggies or other things like ice cream.  And they never warn against that.  I say take care to make sure the food is properly stored and heat it up if in any doubt.

My doc said as long as it's not meat from the deli. You can buy packaged meat that's sealed ☺️☺️☺️❤️❤️❤️❤️
