Ovulated late so when can I test??

I ovulated late. I ovulated only 9 days before my period is supposed to start. My periods are regular and this app has always been spot on with my periods, sometimes maybe having it off by one day. But according to an ovulation test, I ovulated yesterday which is 9 days before I’m supposed to have my period. Someone told me that I will start my period later if i ovulated late. So now when am I supposed to know when to take a pregnancy test if I don’t know when I’m going to start my period??
