Baby acne ?

My son has a severe case of baby acne or what I think is baby acne it’s spreading to his chest neck and scalp and idk what to do his ped said to leave it but this was before it started getting bad .. I messaged his ped and the nurse told me I need to take him to urgent care but I feel like there not going to do anything for it. he has a appointment next Monday should I just wait or take him to urgent care 😓

This was at the tail end of her baby acne. She had it pretty bad too. I just held a warm wash cloth to the spots that were most irritated. It cleared up completely in about a week. I put a little breast milk on it too.

Put breastmilk on it 15 minutes before his bath and leave it, after his bath lather him in coconut oil. It really helped my son as a newborn and so far it's working really well for my baby girl

We had a bad case of it too and it went away in about 7-10 days.  I just kept it clean with warm water.  I did apply breast milk and coconut oil a couple times but not sure if it did anything.  The acne is gone but now we have a bit of cradle cap..  ugh!
I wouldn’t go to urgent care for baby acne.  It’s normal and not much you can do!  Just would be an added expense for nothing.

I wouldn’t go to urgent care. But that’s just me. My daughter also has acne on her face, head, neck, chest and even her upper back. Just keep it clean and it’ll go away eventually.

What are you using soap and lotion wise? It may be irritating his skin more.

I went to the emergency because the phone doctor had me thinking something was wrong and to quickly go in. When I got there the doctors were not concerned at all. They said alot babies get pimples on their face and neck and it's absolutely normal and will go away in time. I noticed my babies pimples went away instantly after I stopped using my nipple cream for my sore nipples so I'm not sure if it's that or something else.

I switched my babies soap to dove sensitive and also rubbed a little coconut oil on the spots. Also I think I was bathing her too often. Every other day and it dries her skin out which didn’t help. I bath her every three days and her face is completely clear now

My little guys looks exactly the same. I know it looks horrible and I can’t wait till it goes away. I think you’re doing the right thing by just using water. It should be gone within a couple of weeks from what I’ve read. If it’s not, then maybe go to the doctor.

My little one had horrible baby acne and it lasted two weeks. I used babyganics no rinse micellar water twice a day just to clean his skin.

That’s not nearly as severe as my sons or daughters it doesn’t look so bad. California baby calendula cream works wonders if applied twice a day. Starts working instantly
