When to tell the big news?! Anybody similar cycle only 6 weeks at Christmas?

Hi everyone! I just got my BFP last Friday a whole week after my period was due and another glaring positive today! 💕💕💕💕 my question is....I will only be 6 weeks for Christmas. Is that too early to tell my fam? Like I want to tell my mom and his mom, but I don’t want to tell my dad that early... don’t really care if his dad knows or not but I have so many questions for the moms! I’m torn! 
Anyone in the same cycle as me in the same predicament? When are you telling close family?

I personally never announce my pregnancies until after my first ultrasound. At 6w you don’t know if there’s a heartbeat, if it’s ectopic, if a baby is even growing. I announced my first at 8w and my current I’m announcing at 12w on Christmas.

I’m telling my family, we will be 6 weeks and 4 days. I’ve had 2 blood tests so far and both were great. We don’t have our first ultrasound until Friday but because of the grandparents telling people, I want my relatives to hear it from us before finding out from someone else. We also told them on Easter last spring, unfortunately it did end in a miscarriage but everyone was really supportive of us and helped us through that difficult time.

When you want and feel comfortable telling is what matters.. Statistically 12 weeks is the "safe" time to tell but it is entirely up to you when you want them to know. IF something happens at least they know and they can support you through it but the choice is yours really. There is no right or wrong time to tell. Widhing you a happy and healthy 9 months!!

Hey! I will be 6 weeks Christmas Eve! We are announcing it to his family that day(since we will be at his grandmas) and on Christmas we will announce it to my family! 
It’s really up to you! Never to early nor to late to announce it☺️
Valentine’s Day is when I will announce it to the public since I will be past 12 weeks
