Sleep?

Hello mom's! Lol .My little boy is 6 months old and has been sleeping in his crib since he was 2 months. Lately he will wake up as soon as I lay him down and he won't self soothe to sleep. He used to only do this when he was teething at night but now I can't tell if he is teething and wants extra snuggles or he just wants to sleep close to mom. Helppp I need to figure this out so I can have my bed back.. if you all have any suggestions that has worked for your baby I would love to hear them.
