I had a internal US yesterday, was told the baby had a slow heartbeat

Last night I had some brown discharge and today I have small amount of bleeding. I’m not in pain and it’s not a lot of blood. I’ve contacted my midwife but she’s on leave. What do you guys think? I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past and I remember being in pain. Is this the start or has anyone else had success ? I know everyone’s different but just looking for some hope. Tired of being so unlucky 😓💔
