In the USA it's really hard to find midwife practices and insurances willing to cover midwife practices. However, I still prefer a midwife and am going to a birthing center, or home birth because one: IT'S CHEAPER, and two: it's intervention free, unless absolutely NECESSARY. As in, no induction or epidurals! What is your thought on this subject and why or why not have a doctor/hospital setting or midwife/home setting? Please share experiences, thoughts, etc (:

BTW I'm almost 6 weeks along and figure that planning this now would be better than later!
