Pain in my chest wall

I’ve got this aching feeling in my chest that won’t go away. I have convinced myself I have cancer as I have touched part of my sternum too much and convinced myself there is a lump :( I have booked a doctors appointment but has anyone had anything similar? Looking for reassurance so I can enjoy Christmas 🎄
