The umbilical cord - To keep, or not to keep?

I have mixed feelings, I want to keep it, but at the same time think it's a little weird... opinions?
I have the same hang up with baby teeth.

my mom kept a piece of mine and my brothers, our first hair clippings, and some of our teeth. i thought it was all normal to do🤷🏼‍♀️

I stared at it a *really* long time, then dispose and cuddle baby 😂😂 for my second, I was quicker and more thorough at throwing it out so my first (16 month old) wouldn't eat it 🤢😂

My friend's mom did this and she thought it was super creepy and disturbing to have in her baby book.

I have my 2 year olds still, everyone thinks it’s weird but I just felt like keeping it 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m sure if he’s anything like me it’s gonna be some weird fact he tells all his friends when he’s older.
