Hubby skipped fam Christmas?

Anyone else have a husband that skipped the big family Christmas? How do you explain that to your relatives?

My guy skipped because he went to my parents for Christmas <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a> and just wanted time to himself. No one in my family does this that I know of. If they skip, they are sick or working. My husband just played video games & drank beer.

My husband decide to stay away this year and that's ok. I don't know what he has planned but as long as he is happy that's fine with me. And I have not explained anything to anybody and I don't plan to. It's no ones business.

My husband doesnt go to my family Christmas. He stays home and gets the house ready for christmas for our kids.

Mine does, but only if it's my side of the family. He expects us all to go to everything his side has. 🙄

My hasn’t but yea, I’d be mad if he skipped for no good reason and I know he would feel the same way if I skipped
