Can I put gripe water in baby’s bottle with her milk or do I have to put it in her mouth separately using the syringe?

I always gave it separately, mostly because with my luck he wouldn't finish the bottle and then hes not getting it all lmao but I don't see it being a huge problem If you put it in the bottle. I probably have at some point.
